Privacy Policy
Your sessions, journal and exercise-sheet photos stay on your iPhone. Only text goes to the AI coach, and only if you have allowed it.

- Périnée Coach asks for no account, email or phone number. We, the app's publisher, run no server that receives your data.
- Guided sessions, the French voice (iOS speech synthesis), the journal, weekly stats and reminders all work on the device.
- The AI coach relies on DeepSeek, a service based in China. Nothing is sent to it until you tap “Autoriser” (Allow) on the “Partage pour le coach” screen.
- No ads, no analytics, no cross-app or cross-site tracking.
Data that relates to your health
Pelvic-floor exercise sessions, a feeling score after each one, a sheet from a physiotherapist or midwife, a spoken debrief where you may mention discomfort or pain: this can reveal health information (postpartum, menopause, leakage…). Under the GDPR it is sensitive data.
That is why sending anything to the AI coach relies on your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 9(2)(a)), given in the app and withdrawable at any time. Everything that stays on the iPhone is handled by the app for you alone; we have no access to it.
What is kept on your iPhone
These items are stored in the app's private space (JSON and image files in Application Support). They are not sent to us. Depending on your settings they may be included in an iCloud or computer backup.

What goes to DeepSeek (with your consent)
Once sharing is allowed, the app sends text to DeepSeek's API (api.deepseek.com) in three cases, only when you use the feature:

never sent your photos, audio recordings, notes you type in the journal, reminder days and times, progress cards.
DeepSeek (Hangzhou DeepSeek Artificial Intelligence Co., Ltd. and its affiliates) processes this text to generate the reply under its own privacy policy. The data is then processed and stored in the People's Republic of China, which has no EU adequacy decision, so protection may differ from the EU. By allowing sharing you explicitly consent to this transfer (GDPR Art. 49(1)(a)). Avoid telling the coach anything that identifies you (name, address, medical record number).
Voice transcription and Apple services
For the voice debrief the app uses iOS speech recognition (microphone + Speech Recognition). Depending on your iPhone and language, Apple may process the audio on the device or on its servers, under Apple's privacy policy. The speech synthesis that reads the cues and the sheet reading (Vision) run on the iPhone.
Permissions
- Camera — photograph the sheet from your physio or midwife.
- Microphone and Speech Recognition — record and transcribe your post-session debrief.
- Add to Photos (add only) — save your progress card. The app does not read your library; a pose or sheet photo is only available if you pick it yourself.
- Notifications — your session reminders, scheduled locally on the iPhone.
Each one is asked for when you tap the feature and can be revoked in iOS Settings.
Withdrawing consent and deleting data
Turn off Réglages > Coach IA > Partage de données IA (Settings > AI coach > AI data sharing) to stop all sending at once; a request in progress is cancelled. Sessions, the journal and reminders keep working. We cannot recall what was already sent to DeepSeek; contact DeepSeek about that data.
The app does not yet offer a button to delete a single session or the whole journal. To delete all local data, uninstall Périnée Coach (and remove it from iCloud backups if needed). Cards saved to Photos are deleted in Photos.
Your rights
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and to withdraw consent. Because the data stays on your device, most of them are exercised directly in the app or by deleting it. For any question write to carnet@nenuphar-cadence.fr. You can also complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr) or your local authority.
Minimum age
Périnée Coach is meant for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 15, and the AI coach must not be used below that age.
These pages and changes
These pages are hosted on Cloudflare Pages with no cookies or analytics. Cloudflare may process technical access logs (such as IP addresses) to run and protect the service. If this policy changes, the date at the top is updated; a significant change will be flagged in the app. The French version prevails in case of difference.
